Mastodinon
Application instruction:
Mastodinon – the combined homeopathic medicine for treatment of gynecologic diseases.
Form of release and structure
- Drops for intake: transparent, yellowish color, with a fragrant smell (on 50 and 100 ml in dark glass bottles droppers, in a pack a cardboard 1 bottle);
- Tablets: round, ploskotsilindrichesky, beige color, impregnations of light brown color are allowed (on 20 pieces in the blister, in a pack cardboard 3 blisters).
Active ingredients in 10 mg of drops / 1 to a tablet:
- Agnus castus (vitex sacred or Avraamovo a tree) D1 – 2 mg / 162 mg;
- Iris (an iris multi-colored) D2 – 2 mg / 162 mg;
- Caulophyllum thalictroides (a steblelist vasilistnikovidny) D4 – 1 mg / 81 mg;
- Ignatia (a nuxvomica an ignation) D6 – 1 mg / 81 mg;
- Cyclamen (a cyclamen European) D4 – 1 mg / 81 mg;
- Lilium tigrinum (a lily tiger) D3 – 1 mg / 81 mg.
Excipients:
- Drops: ethanol 47-53 about. %;
- Tablets: magnesium stearate, potato starch, lactoses monohydrate.
Indications to use
Mastodinon is applied as symptomatic means as a part of complex therapy of the following diseases / states:
- The disturbances of a menstrual cycle which developed owing to insufficiency of a yellow body;
- Fibrous and cystous mastopathy;
- The premenstrual syndrome which is shown mental lability, hypostases, a lock, a headache, migraine, and also painful tension of mammary glands;
- Infertility (owing to insufficiency of a yellow body).
Contraindications
Absolute:
- Pregnancy;
- Lactation;
- Age up to 12 years;
- Hypersensitivity to drug.
Because of the content of lactose in tablets Mastodinon is contraindicated at hereditary intolerance of a galactose, disturbances of absorption of a glucose/galactose, genetic deficit of lactase.
Mastodinon is not applied to treatment of malignant diseases of a mammary gland.
Route of administration and dosage
Drug is accepted inside: tablets – are swallowed entirely, washing down with water; drops – dilute in a small amount of liquid.
Single dose – 30 drops or 1 tablet, frequency rate of reception – 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening).
Improvement of a state is usually noted 6 weeks later from the beginning of administration of drug, but treatment has to last not less than 3 months. Duration of therapy is defined individually by the doctor. It is necessary to accept Mastodinon continuously, including in the period of periods. Drug can be used is long.
Side effects
Generally Mastodinon is had well. The following side effects are seldom or never noted: nausea, stomach aches, small increase in weight, the eels itching a dieback, headaches; because of existence in structure of Agnus castus – temporary psychomotor excitement, hallucinations and confusion of consciousness (at emergence of these symptoms therapy by drug should be cancelled).
The probability of development of allergic reactions is not excluded.
Special instructions
In the course of storage of drops for intake loss of an insignificant deposit and easy opacification of solution is possible (this phenomenon does not influence efficiency of drug).
If after the termination of a course of treatment by Mastodinon of the complaint renew, it is necessary to see a doctor for consultation about a possibility of extension of therapy.
Just before reception the bottle with drops needs to be shaken up carefully.
If during use of drug there occurs pregnancy, treatment should be stopped.
Medicinal interaction
At the same time applied antagonists of a dopamine can reduce Mastodinon's efficiency.
