Application instruction:
Плантекс – drug of a plant origin for stimulation of digestion and decrease in gas generation in intestines, has spasmolytic effect.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – granules for preparation of solution for intake (for children): light brown small grains with a fennel smell, heterogeneous structure with impregnations of more dark and light color (on 5 g in bags, in a cardboard pack of 10 bags).
Content of active ingredients is 1 bag:
- Dry extract (water) fennel fruits – 250 mg;
- Essential oil of fennel – 2,4 mg, including the content of fenchone is not less than 0,2 mg and it is not less than 0,5 mg of p-propenyl anisole.
Auxiliary components: lactose, dextrose anhydrous, acacias gum.
Indications to use
Плантекс it is recommended to apply as medical and prophylactic at children after two weeks of life at spastic intestines pains against the background of poorly expressed digestive disturbance or upon transition to other types of food from feeding by breast milk.
Contraindications
- Lactose intolerance;
- Galactosemia;
- Syndrome of disturbance of absorption of a galactose or glucose;
- Individual intolerance of components of drug.
Route of administration and dosage
Ready solution of Planteks is accepted inside after meal or in breaks between food.
For preparation of solution it is necessary to pour out contents of 1 bag in a small bottle or a cup, to fill in 100 ml of boiled warm water and to stir carefully that all granules were dissolved.
The recommended daily dosing:
- Newborns and children till 1 year: 1-2 bags;
- Children from 1 year to 4 years: 2-3 bags.
The daily dose is distributed on 2-3 receptions.
Side effects
Against the background of Planteks's use development of allergic reactions is possible.
Special instructions
For the babies who are on breastfeeding, solution needs to be prepared just before use.
It is impossible to add sweeteners to drug.

Undesirable interaction of Planteks with other medicines is not established.
