Turricephaly

Turricephaly (acrocephalia; Greek akros – the most remote, extreme, high + kephale – the head; synonym: an oxycephalia, an akrokraniye, a skull tower, a pirgotsefaliya) – one of anomalies of development which is characterized by the high skull of conical shape which is a little flattened in the perednezadny direction. The turricephaly is formed because of premature fusion of cranial seams.
