Argyrosis

Argyrosis (argyrosis; Greek argyros – silver + Greek - Usis (словообраз. a suffix) – a disease; synonyms: an argiriya, аргириазис) – black-gray and/or brown pigmentation of mucous membranes, skin, eyes and tissues of internals which is caused by adjournment of silver in them.

Allocate:

  • The argyrosis professional (argyrosis professionalis) – develops at people whose professional activity is connected with silver ore (production and processing), and also with use of various compounds of silver commercially;
  • The argyrosis pharmacological – develops because of long therapy by silver nitrate drugs.
