Balinta syndrome

Balinta syndrome (R. Balint, 1874-1929, Hungarian psychoneurologist; synonyms: look paralysis mental, an ataxy optical) – inability of the patient to capture a look all objects located in the field of his sight because of disorder of transfer and concentration of a look (in the absence of paresis and paralyzes of eye muscles) owing to what usually there is a disturbance of orientation in space; it is observed in cases of damage of a brain.
