Balneotechnics (Latin balneum – bathing, a bathtub + Greek techne – art, craft, ability):

  1. The section of sanitary engineering providing technically and lechebno competent use of therapeutic muds and mineral waters;
  2. Group of the technical means used for transportation, and also preparation for medical and preventive methods of use of the therapeutic muds and mineral waters which are not changing at the same time their physical and chemical properties.
