Banga test (I. Ch. Bang, 1869-1918, норв. the biochemist) – the way of identification in fructose urine based on its ability when placing in acidic environment to be transformed to oxymethylfurfural which compound with bile acids has violet color; test is positive and in case of existence in sucrose urine.
