Bartonellosis

Bartonellosis (bartonellosis; Xing: the wart is Peruvian, fever Oroya, Karriona a disease) – the infectious transmissible disease excited by Bartonella bacilliformis, endemic for mountainous areas of Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia, extending at stings of mosquitoes; it is expressed as long fever of the wrong type and (or) an enanthesis and mucous membranes of the papular components predisposed to formation of ulcers.
