Bell-Mazhandi law

Bell-Mazhandi law (Ch. Bell, шотл. anatomist, physiologist and surgeon of 1774 - 1842; F. Magendie, the fr. physiologist, 1783-1855) – the pattern explaining distribution of the fibers which are contained in roots of spinal nerves: motive fibers come out a spinal cord as a part of ventral roots, and sensitive fibers get into a spinal cord, being a part of back roots.
