Eye biomicroscopy

Eye biomicroscopy (Greek bios – life, belonging to life, to vital processes + Greek mikros – small + Greek skopeo – to observe, consider) – based on implementation of sharp contrast between the dark and lit areas and essential increase in the image (at 5-60 times) a way of visual examination of tissues of eye and optical environments; it is carried out by means of a slit lamp.
