Birkh-Girshfelda operation

Birkh-Girshfelda operation (A. Birch-Hirschfeld, the German ophthalmologist, 1871-1945) – the surgery used for elimination of spastic torsion of a century at which the narrow strip from a circular muscle of an eye is allocated is cut in the middle and both parts are pulled together with necessary degree of a tension.
