Bogdanova resection

Bogdanova resection (F. R. Bogdanov, Soviet orthopedist-traumatologist, 1900-1973; resectio from armor. resecare – to cut) – the resection of fragments of beam and elbow bones applied at spastic contractures of muscles of a forearm with a further reconstruction of their continuity for correction of deformation of fingers and a brush, and also shortening of a forearm.
