Brunna-Vitteka plaster bandage

Brunna-Vitteka plaster bandage (M. of Brunn, German surgeon, 1875-1924; A. Wittek, the Austrian orthopedist, 1871-1956) – Dyupyuitrena applied at treatment of a change a plaster bandage which is applied U-shapedly on the outside surface of a shin from a knee joint through a bottom surface of foot, and then to a knee joint on the internal surface of a shin; the bandage consists of the wide splint and three plaster rings fixing it.
