Heinz coloring

Heinz coloring (R. Heinz, the German pathologist, 1865-1924) – blood coloring by solution methyl violet in 0,6% aqueous solution of chloride sodium (1:100); it is applied to detection in mature erythrocytes of inclusions of a methemoglobin.
