Helminthosis

Helminthosis (helminthosis; Greek helmins, helminthos – a worm, a worm + Greek - Usis (словообраз. a suffix) – a disease) – the disease caused by helminths (helminths).

Types of helminthosis:

  • Contact (contactilis) – transmitted directly from the person to the person or through use objects;
  • Natural and focal – the long period existing beyond all bounds in a certain territory, owing to circulation of the activator among wildings.
