Hemoglobin

Hemoglobin (haemoglobinum; Hb; Greek haima – blood + lat. globus – a ball) – the respiratory pigment which is in erythrocytes of blood of some invertebrates, vertebrate animals and the person, carrying out movement of oxygen from lungs in fabric, and taking part in transfer from fabrics in lungs of carbon dioxide; is the complex protein including in the composition of gems and squirrels of a globin connected among themselves by means of iron atom gem and the radical of the gistidinovy rest of protein.
