Hemorrhoidal zone [zona haemorrhoidalis – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian)] – the ring site of a mucous membrane of the anal channel in which there are no anal bosoms and columns; in a submucosa of a hemorrhoidal zone the hemorrhoidal texture (a pryamokishechny veniplex) is placed.
