Vakeza painful point (L. N of Vaquez, French therapist, 1860-1936; synonym: To Waca a painful point – not recommended) – the site of the local morbidity felt when pressing (is more rare – constant spontaneous pain or pain at a physical tension), which is between the paravertebral line in the eighth or tenth intercostal spaces at the left and medial edge of a shovel; it is noted at mitral heart diseases in connection with the increased left auricle, and irritation of nervous formations of a postmediastinum.
