Vallerovsky regeneration

Vallerovsky regeneration (And. V. Waller, English doctor, 1816-1870; synonym: a degeneration of nerve fibrils secondary) – the disintegration and dystrophy of nerve fibrils developing during the crossing of a nerve or damage of cellular bodies of neutrons, and caused by loss of trophic influence of neurons.
