Vanilil-mandelic acid – result of metabolism of catecholamines (3-metoksi-4-hydroxy-mandelic acid); excessive release of vanilil-mandelic acid with urine (more than 0,3 mg/days) confirms hypersecretion of catecholamines in an organism.
