Vasilenko gastrointestinal syndrome

Vasilenko gastrointestinal syndrome (V. of X. Vasilenko, Soviet therapist, 1897-1987; Greek gaster – a stomach + lat. intestinum – a gut, intestines) – accompanying a myocardial infarction: dyspepsia, gastric bleedings, ulcers and erosion of a stomach.
