Ventrikuloureterostomiya

Ventrikuloureterostomiya (outdated; ventriculoureterostomia, anatomic ventriculus – a ventricle, a stomach + anatomic ureter – an ureter + Greek stoma – an opening) – surgery at which carry out removal of cerebrospinal liquid at open hydrocephaly by means of imposing of an anastomosis between an ureter (after preliminary carrying out a nephrectomy – removal of a kidney), and a subarachnoid space of a spinal cord.
