Vidalya reaction

Vidalya reaction (F. Widal, the French doctor, 1862-1929) – the serological test intended for diagnosing of a typhoid and other salmonelloses, which is based on agglutination (settling out) of the inactivated bacteria (diagnosticums) as a result of various cultivations of blood serum of the patient.
