Votchala-Tiffno test

Votchala-Tiffno test (B. E. Votchal, Soviet therapist, 1895-1971; R. Tiffeneau, the French scientist, 1910-1961) – a functional trial for definition of tracheobronchial passability, by means of establishment of volume of expired air for the first second of the forced exhalation made after the maximum breath and finding of its relation (as a percentage) to the actual vital capacity of lungs.
