Wood filters (R. W. Wood, the American physicist, 1868-1955) – optical filters which pass only the ultraviolet radiation having the wavelength of 270-370 nanometers at the same time to a maximum of a transmission there corresponds the wavelength of 366 nanometers; it is used in devices for the luminescent analysis.
