General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: lignin of hydrolytic 400 mg

Excipients: polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical (povidone), calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Enterosorbent of a natural origin. Consists of hydrolysates of components of a derevesina - polymer of a lignin which structural elements are derivatives of a fenilpropan and hydrocellulose.
Has high sorption activity and nonspecific disintoxication action. In a gleam of a GIT of Filtrum®-STI connects and brings out of an organism pathogenic bacteriums and bacterial toxins, medicines, poisons, salts of heavy metals, alcohol, food-borne allergens. Drug occludes also surplus of some metabolic products (including bilirubin, cholesterol, urea), the metabolites responsible for development of endogenous toxicosis.
Фильтирум®-СТИ it is not toxic and it is not absorbed from a GIT.

Pharmacokinetics. At intake drug is not soaked up and completely removed through intestines during 24 h.

Indications to use:

As disintoxication cure at adults and children for exogenous and endogenous intoxications of various origin:
— acute poisonings with medicines, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals, alcohol and other poisons;
— as a part of complex therapy at food toxicoinfections, a salmonellosis, dysentery, dyspepsia;
— the pyoinflammatory diseases which are followed by the expressed intoxication;
— hyperbilirubinemias and hyperazotemias (liver and renal failure);
— food and medicinal allergies;
— for the purpose of prevention of chronic intoxications at workers of harmful productions.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug should be accepted inside, it is desirable after preliminary crushing, washing down with water, for 1 h to food and reception of other drugs.
The dose of drug depends on disease severity, age and body weight of the patient.

from 1 year to 3 years	1/2-1 tablets
from 4 to 7 years	1 tablets
from 7 to 12 years	1-2 tablets
of 12 years is also more senior	2-3 tablets

Frequency rate of administration of drug - 3-4 times/days.
If necessary according to the recommendation of the doctor the daily dose can be increased to 20-30 g in 3-4 receptions.
Treatment duration at acute states - 3-5 days, at allergic diseases and chronic intoxications - 14-21 days.
Repeated courses of treatment in 2 weeks according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Features of use:

At long reception preventive reception of polyvitamins and drugs of calcium is recommended.

Side effects:

Seldom: allergic reactions, lock.
At prolonged use disturbance of absorption of vitamins, calcium is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Decrease in medical effect of some at the same time primenyamy medicines is possible.
At observance of rules of separate reception drug can be used in complex therapy with other medicines.

Contraindications:

— aggravation of a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
— intestines atony;
— individual intolerance of drug.

Use of the drug FILTRUM®-STI at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
Data on safety of use of the drug Filtrum®-STI at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation are absent.

Overdose:

Data on overdose of drug are not known.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 30 °C.
