At contact with blood the large volume of water concerning weight and the volume of drug is selectively absorbed that results in local concentration of cellular and large proteinaceous components of blood (including coagulation factors). It in turn induces formation of a blood parcel. Besides, the superficial potential of zeolite promotes activation of the XII factor of coagulability of blood and thrombocytes. HAEMO STOP also contains calcium which is a cofactor in many links of the coagulative cascade.
