Description:
Tsistoskopiya (from other - Greek kystis — "bladder") — a medical method of a research, survey of an internal surface of a bladder, a type of endoscopy. Tsistoskopiya is made by means of the endoscope (a catheter with optical and lighting systems) which is entered through an urethra.
Since use in endoscopy of filament lamps, endoscopy (including and a tsistoskopiya) gained the general distribution and considerably moved diagnosis of diseases of uric ways forward. Especially before emergence of other diagnostic methods, such as ultrasonography, the tsistoskopiya for early recognition of tumors of a bladder and for definition of location, a look and size of a foreign body in a bubble cavity had importance. Thus, there was possible a timely removal of tumors, and there was an opportunity to take foreign bodys in natural ways in such cases where without tsistoskopiya it should resort to operation.
Tsistoskopiya serves also as help at recognition of some renal diseases. At cash of blood or pus in urine it is sometimes difficult to decide where disease process is localized. By means of a tsistoskopiya it is possible to inspect an urethra, at last, to establish a bladder in sight of an opening of ureters and to observe whether the kidney bleeds and which whether pus from one or both ureters is emitted. Thanks to a tsistoskopiya it is possible to catheterize ureters and to receive a discharge of each kidney separately for a research. In need of removal of a kidney the question of operability of the second kidney which is a matter of life and death for the patient can be solved by means of a tsistoskopiya.
