General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 50 mg of a lipoid C 100 in terms of phosphatidylsincaline, 45 mg of a thistle spotty extract dry in terms of Silymarinum, 30 mg of vitamin E, premix of 50% in terms of α-tocopheryl acetate, 0,012 mg of a selenometionin, premix of 0,5% in terms of selenium.

Excipients: calcium stearate, коллидон 30 (povidone), silicon dioxide colloid anhydrous (aerosil-300), maltodextrin, calcium hydrophosphate dihydrate.

Structure of a cover of a gelatin capsule: gelatin, titanium E-171 dioxide, quinolinic yellow E-104, E-122 azoruby, crimson 4R E-124, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Fosfatidilkholin is a structural element of cellular and intracellular membranes, is capable to recover their structure and functions at damage, having cytoprotective effect. Normalizes proteinaceous and lipidic exchanges, prevents loss by hepatocytes of enzymes and other active agents, recovers detoksitsiruyushchy function of a liver, inhibits formation of connecting fabric, reducing risk of developing of fibrosis and cirrhosis.

Silymarinum possesses hepatoprotective action thanks to competitive interaction with receptors on the corresponding toxins in a gepatotsitny membrane, showing, thus, membranostimuliruyushchy action, stimulates synthesis of proteins (structural and functional) and phospholipids in the injured hepatocytes, accelerating thus regenerative processes. Action of flavonoids to which Silymarinum belongs is caused also by their antioxidant properties and effects improving microcirculation.

Vitamin E participates in processes of proliferation of cells, fabric metabolism, prevents hemolysis of erythrocytes, interferes with a hyperpermeability and fragility of capillaries. Drug slows down free radical reactions, prevents formation of the peroxides damaging cellular and subcellular membranes. Improves tissue respiration, stimulates protein synthesis (collagen, fermental, structural and sokratitelny proteins of skeletal and unstriated muscles, a myocardium), protects vitamin A from oxidation, inhibits cholesterol synthesis. Slows down oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids and selenium (a component of microsomal system of transfer of electrons).

Selenium – one of the essential microelements playing an important role in normal functioning of vitals and systems. Selenium has protective action at acute and chronic intoxications xenobiotics. Selenium is effective antioxidant at the cellular level.

Indications to use:

Drug is used in complex treatment of chronic toxic damages of a liver; for the supporting treatment at patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of a liver or cirrhosis, for symptomatic elimination of a loss of appetite and/or weight in right hypochondrium at the following diseases of a liver:

- Fatty degeneration of a liver;

- Hepatitises of any nature, acute and chronic;

- Cirrhoses;

- Toxic and medicinal damages of a liver;

- Alcoholic liver disease;

- Cholestasia.

Route of administration and doses:

To accept inside during food, without chewing washing down with a small amount of water.

For children since 12 years and adults: an initial dose on 2 capsules x 3 times a day not less than 3 months. A maintenance dose on 1 capsule x 3 times a day, not less than 4 weeks.

The attending physician can recommend other dosage and длительнось treatments, depending on a condition of the patient and disease.

Features of use:

It is not necessary to exceed the doses specified in this instruction.

Treatment to data of HP cannot replace a diet or refusal of something at damages of a liver (for example from alcohol);

At patients with hormonal disturbances (endometriosis, a hysteromyoma, a carcinoma of a mammary gland, ovaries and a uterus, a kartsiom of a prostate) because of possible estrogenopodobny action of Silymarinum.

At emergence of allergic reactions treatment gepatoleky should be stopped.

Side effects:

Gepatolek is usually had well, but the following not desired effects can sometimes be observed:

From a GIT: Nausea, dyspepsia, diarrhea;

From skin and skin appendages: Skin allergic reactions in the form of an itch and rash;

Others: Strengthening of vestibular disturbances;

Side effects have reversible character and disappear after taking the medicine.

Interaction with other medicines:

Caused by existence of Silymarinum. Perhaps reduction of action of oral contraceptives and replacement therapy by female sex hormones.

Perhaps strengthenings of action of such drugs as diazepam, to alprozola, кетоконазол, ловастатин, vinblastine, because of its suppressing action on system of P 450 cytochrome.

Caused by availability of vitamin E. Increases efficiency of anticonvulsants at patients with epilepsy at whom the increased content in blood of products of peroxide oxidation of lipids is revealed. Strengthens effect of steroid and nonsteroid protivospalitelny means, antioxidants.

Increases efficiency and reduces toxicity of cardiac glycosides, and also A and D vitamins. Colestyraminum, колестипол, mineral oils reduce absorption alpha токофералацетата.

High doses of a dose of iron strengthen oxidizing processes in an organism that increases the need for vitamin E.

At simultaneous use of alpha tocopherolacetate with cyclosporine absorption of the last increases.

Contraindications:

- Hypersensitivity to drug components;

- Children's age up to 12 years (lack of sufficient evidential base).

Overdose:

There are no data on medicine overdose.

At accidental reception of a high dose cause vomiting. carry out a gastric lavage using absorbent carbon and a symptomatic treatment if necessary.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from moisture and light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the places protected from children. Period of storage of 18 months.
