General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: diosmin, hesperidin;

1 tablet contains the cleared micronized flavonoidny fraction of 500 mg containing diosmin of 450 mg, hesperidin * 50 mg;

* under the name "hesperidin" mean mix флавоноидив: izoroifolina, hesperidin, linarin, diosmetin;

excipients: the tselyulloza is microcrystallic, sodium krakhmalglikolit, a gipromelloza, talc, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, mix for a covering of "Opaglos 2 Orange" No. 97A23967 contains: sodium carboxymethylcellulose (type A), maltodextrin, Dextrosums monohydrate, titanium dioxide (Е 171), stearic acid, talc, iron oxide yellow (Е 172), iron oxide red (Е 172), yellow decline of FCF (Е 110).

Description: tablets, coated light pink color, an oval form, with risky on the one hand and with a text of "KMP" on the other hand. On a break the kernel of beige color is visible.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug possesses venomotor and angioprotektorny action, raises a venous tone, reduces distensibility of veins and веностаз, improves microcirculation, reduces permeability of capillaries and increases their resistance, improves a lymphatic drainage, increases lymphatic outflow. Drug also reduces interaction of leukocytes and an endothelium, adhesion of leukocytes in post-capillary venules. It reduces the damaging action of mediators of an inflammation on walls of veins and a shutter of valves of veins.

Drug supports the cleared flavonoidny fraction of diosmin and hesperidin in the micronized look, that is particle sizes of active agent are reduced that provides active absorption of drug and more quick start of its action.

Active agent of drug is extensively metabolized in an organism that is confirmed by existence in urine of phenolic acids. The elimination half-life makes 11 h. Removal of active agent of drug happens preferential through intestines       (80%). With urine 14% of the accepted dose are removed on average.

Indications to use:

Chronic venolimfatichesky insufficiency of the lower extremities of the organic and functional nature (hypostases, pain, weight in legs). Acute and chronic hemorrhoids.

Route of administration and doses:

For oral administration.

It is appointed the adult.

Treatment of chronic venolimfatichesky insufficiency (hypostases, pain, weight in legs, night spasms, trophic ulcers, a limfedema, etc.): 2 tablets a day (in two steps) during food. After a week of use it is possible to take 2 pill a day at the same time during food.

Chronic hemorrhoids: 2 tablets a day (in two steps) during food. After a week of use it is possible to take 2 pill a day at the same time during food.

Acute hemorrhoids: 6 tablets a day for the first 4 days and on 4 tablets a day for the next 3 days. To apply during food. To divide daily quantity of tablets into 2–3 receptions.

The course of treatment and dosing depend on the indication for use, the course of a disease and are defined by the doctor. The average duration of treatment makes 2–3 months.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.

Data on teratogenic effect of drug are absent. Clinical trials with participation of women in ІІІ a trimester of pregnancy proved efficiency of use of drug and did not find risk for a fruit.

It is not recommended to nurse during use of the drug "DIOFLAN" due to the lack of enough data on intake of drug in breast milk. In need of treatment by drug feeding by a breast should be stopped.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms.

Drug does not influence ability to manage vehicles and to work with different mechanisms. In case of signs of side effect of drug it is necessary to be careful.

Children. It is not applied.

Side effects:

Usually treatment is transferred well. Moderate frustration from a digestive tract (diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting) are seldom possible or the autonomic nervous system (a headache, dizziness) that does not demand the treatment termination.

Interaction with other medicines:

Are not revealed.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any component of drug in the anamnesis.

Appropriate actions of safety at use.

If bystry reduction of expressiveness of symptoms of acute hemorrhoids is not noted, it is necessary to conduct additional proctologic examination and to correct treatment.

Overdose:

In case of exceeding of the recommended doses it is necessary to wash out a stomach, to accept a sorbent and to see a doctor. Strengthening of manifestations of side effects is possible. Treatment – symptomatic.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 2 years. To store in original packaging, at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in  the place, unavailable to children.
