General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 300 mg of "essential" phospholipids (in the form of lecithin soy liquid, Solkas-10).

Structure of a gelatin capsule: gelatin, глицерол, Natrium benzoicum, the water purified titanium dioxide (E171), black iron oxide (E172), iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide yellow (E172).

Drug for treatment of diseases of a liver.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Among pharmakodinamichesky properties hepatoprotective effects in various experimental models of acute injury of a liver, for example, damage from ethanol, alkyl of alcohol, tetrachloride carbon, paracetamol and a galactosemine were registered. Besides, at chronic model (ethanol, acetothioamide, organic solvents) braking of a steatosis and fibrosis is also revealed. The mechanism of action consists in acceleration of regeneration and stabilization of membranes, braking of processes of peroxide oxidation of lipids and synthesis of collagen. Specific researches of a pharmacodynamics at the person are absent.

Pharmacokinetics. At intake more than 90% of drug are soaked up in a small intestine. Phospholipids come to blood through absorbent vessels preferential in a complex with LPVP and are transported in a liver. The maximum level of phosphatidylsincaline in blood serum is reached in 6 - 24 h after administration of drug and averages 20%. The elimination half-life for a choline component makes 66 h, for saturated fatty acids - 32 h. About 5% of drug are removed with a stake.

Indications to use:

Эссенцикапс apply to improvement of subjective symptoms, such as: appetite loss, pressure sense in the right upper part of a stomach, and also in complex treatment:
- acute and chronic hepatitises;
- fatty degeneration of a liver of various etiology (including at a diabetes mellitus);
- disturbances of lipidic exchange of various genesis;
- toxic damages of a liver;
- alcoholic or narcotic intoxication.

Route of administration and doses:

Эссенцикапс use to children of 12 years and the adult 2 capsules 3 times a day inside during food, swallowing entirely and washing down with a large amount of liquid (200 ml are the best of all a glass of water).

There are no temporary restrictions on use duration.

Features of use:

Due to the content of soy oil drug can cause in rare instances heavy allergic reactions.

Children. Experience of use of Essentsikaps for children is absent therefore it should not be applied at children aged up to 12 years.

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Use of drug during pregnancy and a lactation is not recommended.

Does not influence a possibility of driving of the car, work with the equipment.

Side effects:

Drug is usually well transferred. From the alimentary system at use of high doses of Essentsikaps there can sometimes be diarrhea and sensations of discomfort in a stomach.

Interaction with other medicines:

Essentsikaps's interaction with anticoagulants cannot be excluded. Thus, it can be necessary that the dose of these drugs has to be corrected.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

About cases of overdose of drug of Essentsikaps it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. A period of validity - 2 years.
