Allocholum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 0,08 g of bile of dry, 0,04 g of extract of garlic in terms of dry matter, 0,005 g of extract of a nettle dense in terms of dry matter, 0,025 g of the coal activated.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Allocholum belongs to the drugs strengthening bilification. The mechanism of action is caused by reflexes of a mucous membrane of intestines, and also influence of Allocholum on secretory function of a liver. Allocholum increases amount of the cosecreted bile, strengthens secretory and motive functions of digestive tract, reduces processes of rotting and fermentation in intestines. Allocholum can serve as means of replacement therapy at endogenous insufficiency of bile acids.

Pharmacokinetics. Allocholum is well soaked up in digestive tract. The cholic and chenodesoxycholic acids which are contained in Allocholum are exposed 7α-дегидроксилированию in intestines. Chenodesoxycholic acid, besides, is exposed to metabolism in a liver: conjugates with amino acids, cosecretes in bile from where again it is allocated in intestines, then it reabsorbirutsya partially; other part is removed with excrements.

Indications to use:

Apply at chronic hepatitises, cholangites, cholecystitises and the usual lock connected with an intestines atony.

Route of administration and doses:

Accept inside after food. Appoint the adult 1 — 2 tablet 3 — 4 times a day. A course of treatment — 3 — 4 weeks.

At an exacerbation of diseases appoint on 1 tablet 2 — 3 times a day (within 1 — 2 months).

Features of use:

Allocholum it is possible to repeat a course of treatment 2 — 3 times with a break 3 months.

Use at pregnancy and a lactation: with care, under observation of the doctor.

Drug does not influence ability to manage vehicles and the machine equipment.

Side effects:

At use of drug for certain patients are possible diarrhea; allergic reactions. In these cases drug is cancelled.

Interaction with other medicines:

The drugs containing aluminum hydroxide, холестирамин холестипол reduce absorption (and reduce effect) — the concomitant use is inexpedient.

Contraindications:

Acute hepatitises, acute and subacute dystrophies of a liver, obturatsionny jaundice.

Overdose:

Diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, skin itch, increase in level of transaminases in blood are possible.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from moisture and light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 4 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
