General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: адеметионин (in the form of S-adenozilmetionina) 400 mg.
Excipients Krospovidon (полипласдон Ickx El-10), cellulose microcrystallic, Mannitolum, magnesium stearate.
Structure of a cover Akriliz, oksipropilmetiltsellyuloza, коповидон (пласдон ES-630), polyethyleneglycol 6000.

Tablets, coated yellow color, oblong shape (облонг). On cross section two layers are visible.

Pharmacological properties:

Geptor - a gepatoprotektor, has antidepressive activity.

Has holeretichesky and holekinetichesky effect. Has the detoksikatsionny, regenerating, antioxidant, antifibroziruyushchy and neurotyre-tread properties.

The ademetionina fills shortage and stimulates its development in an organism, first of all in a liver and a brain. Participates in biological responses of transmethylation (the donator of methyl group). The molecule of S-аденозил-L-methionine (адеметионин) tints methyl group in reactions of methylation of phospholipids of cellular membranes, proteins, hormones, neurotransmitters; transsulphations - the predecessor of cysteine, taurine, glutathione (provides the oxidation-reduction mechanism of a cellular detoxication), acetylation coenzyme. Increases the maintenance of a glutamine in a liver, cysteine and taurine in plasma; reduces the content of methionine in serum, normalizing metabolic reactions in a liver. Except decarboxylation participates in aminopro-milling processes as the predecessor of polyamines - a putrestsin (a stimulator of cell regeneration and proliferation of hepatocytes), the spermidine and spermine entering into structure of ribosomes.

Has the holeretichesky effect caused by increase in mobility and polarization of membranes of hepatocytes owing to stimulation of synthesis of phosphatidylsincaline in them. It improves function of the hepatocytes of transport systems of bile acids associated with membranes and promotes a passage of bile acids in bile-excreting system. It is effective at intra lobular option of a cholestasia (disturbance of synthesis and current of bile). Promotes a detoxication of bile acids, increases contents in hepatocytes of the conjugated and sulphated bile acids. Conjugation with taurine increases solubility of bile acids and their removal from a hepatocyte. Process of sulphation of bile acids promotes a possibility of their elimination by kidneys, facilitates passing through a membrane of a hepatocyte and removal with bile. Besides, the sulphated bile acids protect membranes of cells of a liver from toxic effect of not sulphated bile acids (in high concentration of attendees in hepatocytes at an intra hepatic cholestasia). At patients with diffusion diseases of a liver (cirrhosis, hepatitis) with a syndrome of an intra hepatic cholestasia reduces expressiveness of a skin itch and changes of biochemical indicators, including level of direct bilirubin, activity of ShchF, aminotransferases.

The Holeretichesky and hepatoprotective effect remains up to 3 months after the treatment termination.

Efficiency of an ademetionin at the hepatopathies caused by hepatotoxic drugs is shown.

Purpose of drug to patients with the opioid drug addiction which is followed by damage of a liver leads to regression of clinical manifestations of abstinence, improvement of a functional condition of a liver and processes of a microsomal oxidation.

Antidepressive activity of an ademetionin is shown gradually, since the end of the first week of treatment, and stabilized within 2 weeks of treatment. Drug is effective at recurrent endogenous and neurotic depressions, resistant to amitriptyline. Has ability to interrupt a depression recurrence.

Purpose of drug at osteoarthrites reduces expressiveness of a pain syndrome, increases synthesis of proteoglycans and leads to partial regeneration of cartilaginous tissue.

Indications to use:

Intra hepatic cholestasia, hepatitises of various genesis: toxic including (alcoholic), virus, medicinal (antibiotics, antineoplastic, antitubercular and antiviral drugs, tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives), pretsirrotichesky states, cirrhosis, encephalopathies of secondary genesis, depressive syndromes, including secondary, and also at an alcoholic abstinence syndrome.

Route of administration and doses:

 In the period of a maintenance therapy the daily dose of 800-1600 mg (2–4 tablets) is recommended. Duration of a maintenance therapy on average 2–4 weeks. Tablets should be swallowed entirely, without chewing. For improvement of therapeutic effect a pill is recommended to be taken between meals.

Features of use:

Considering tonic effect of drug, it is not recommended to accept before going to bed.

Oral administration of drug by patients with the cirrhosis associated with a hyperazotemia has to be carried out under observation of the doctor with control of level of nitrogen.

The drug tablet Geptor needs to be taken from packaging just before reception.

Tablets of drug are covered with the special cover which is dissolved only in intestines thanks to what адеметионин it is released in a 12-perstny gut.

Side effects:

  Because active agent of drug has acid рН, some patients can feel unpleasant feelings in epigastric area at use of tablets. Anyway these feelings short-term, do not happen expressed and  should not serve as the reason for the termination of a course of treatment.

Interaction with other medicines:

The known interactions with other medicines were not observed.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Overdose:

Clinical cases of overdose were not noted.

Storage conditions:

 List B. In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Not to use drug after a period of validity.

Packaging:

The tablets covered with a kishechnorastvorimy cover, 400 mg. On 10 tablets in planimetric strip or planimetric bezjyacheykovy packagings. 1 either 2 planimetric strip or planimetric bezjyacheykovy packagings together with  the application instruction in a pack.

On 20, 40 or 50 tablets in bank of light-protective glass or in bank polymeric. Each can together with  the application instruction in a pack.
