Alkogro

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 100 mg of threonine, 5 mg of a pyridoxine of a hydrochloride.

Excipients: povidone, citric acid monohydrate, magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Alkogro is the regulator of fabric exchange, increases intellectual working capacity, has medical effect at an alcoholic abstinent of nomas a state, reduces an inclination to alcohol.

Threonine in the presence of a pyridoxine (B6 vitamin) breaks up to amino acid glycine and acetic aldehyde (acetic acid) which stimulate processes of braking and at the same time redoxreactions, processes of breath and synthesis of ATP in cells at the expense of what drug is capable:

-    to reduce psychoemotional tension;

-    to improve short-term and long-term memory;

-    to concentrate attention; to improve mood;

-    to increase intellectual working capacity;

-    to raise and normalize the level of content of endogenous acetic aldehyde and, thereby, to reduce the phenomenon of an alcoholic abstinence syndrome and an inclination to alcohol.

Alkogro's action is shown in 10-20 minutes after reception under language.

Pharmacokinetics. Threonine and a pyridoxine are completely metabolized to water and carbon dioxide. Their cumulation in an organism does not happen.

Indications to use:

Appoint to children, teenagers and almost healthy faces at decrease in intellectual working capacity and concentration of attention.

Drug appoint to the persons abusing alcohol, a sick alcoholism when updating the morbid attraction to alcohol which is combined with affective (irritability, lowered on a structure, internal discomfort), touch (feeling of hunger) and ideatorny (thoughts of alcohol) disturbances, at an alcoholic abstinence syndrome, and also for maintenance of remissions.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is appointed in tablets under language or in the form of powder after crushing of a tablet; as the means increasing attention, intellectual working capacity: to children, teenagers and adults on 1 tablet 2-3 times a day within 3-10 days. If necessary the course is repeated by 3-4 times and more in a year.

Sick alcoholism and the abusing alcohol appoint on 1-3 tablet to reception 2-3 times a day within 4-5 days. If necessary courses repeat 5-10 times a year. At treatment of an alcoholic abstinence syndrome appoint in the first days 1-4 tablets 3-4 times a day (a daily dose of 3-16 tablets), in second day and further on 1-2 tablet to reception 2-3 times a day (a daily dose of 3-6 tablets) within 21-28 days. Duration of a course can be shortened up to 10-14 days.

The greatest effect of Alkogro is reached at his combination to the drug Glycine (a tablet of 0,1 g). Glycine is accepted under language in 10-15 minutes prior to Alkogro's reception.

During remission for identification of the hidden inclination to alcohol take 2-3 pill of Alkogro on an empty stomach. Emergence within 10-20 minutes of the slight dizziness calming effect, face reddening of sweating demonstrates existence of "the hidden draft". In these cases 5-10 dnevny course of Alkogro on 1-2 tablet 2-3 times a day together with Glycine of 0,1 g under language in 10-15 minutes prior to Alkogro's reception are recommended.

Features of use:

It is not recommended to apply in the period of intoxication (since the medical effect of drug decreases).

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Use at pregnancy is possible and during breastfeeding.

Side effects:

Dizziness, the increased sweating.

Interaction with other medicines:

Weakens toxic action of antipsychotic means (neuroleptics), antidepressants, barbiturates and other medicines, the oppressing TsNS.

Contraindications:

Alcoholic intoxication, concomitant use of medicines, the oppressing TsNS (anxiolytics, antipsychotic means (neuroleptics), antidepressants and so forth).

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not revealed.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from moisture and light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Drug should not be used after a period of validity.
