Valerian forte

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: a valerian extract dense – 40 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

The valerian forte has sedative, tranquilizing effect on the central nervous system, regulates cordial activity, has spasmolytic and cholagogue properties. The valerian forte possesses the calming, spasmolytic, cholagogue, antiseptic and soothing svoytva, and also has reflex coronarodilator effect.

Indications to use:

The increased nervous irritability, sleeplessness (backfilling disturbance). As a part of a combination therapy functional frustration of cardiovascular system, spasms of bodies of digestive tract.

Route of administration and doses:

The adult on 1–2 tablets 2 times a day. Reception duration — not less than 20 days. Regular use of dietary supplement from 10 is allowed by a day break.

Features of use:

Sick diabetes mellitus it is necessary to consider that the content of carbohydrates in one single dose of drug (1 tablet) corresponds 0,01 XE, in a daily dose (3 tablets) — 0,03 XE. It is not necessary to accept drug more than 1,5-2 months daily. During treatment by drug it is necessary to be careful at control of vehicles and occupation other potentially dangerous types of activity demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Side effects:

Block, muscular weakness, drowsiness, depression, decrease in working capacity (are possible especially at use in high doses), at prolonged use — locks. Development of allergic reactions is in some cases possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens action of the hypnagogues and other medicines oppressing the central nervous system and also spasmolysants.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, inborn intolerance of fructose, glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption, deficit of invertase/isomaltase, children's age (up to 12 years).

Overdose:

At overdose strengthening of such side effects as block, drowsiness, muscular weakness, depression, decrease in working capacity is possible. Treatment: symptomatic.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light, at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after expiry date.

Packaging:

Tablets, film coated 40 mg.
On 10, 25 tablets in a planimetric strip packaging from a film of the polyvinyl chloride and printing aluminum foil varnished. On 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 100 tablets in a container polymeric for medicines.
Each container or 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 10 blister strip packagings together with the application instruction place in a pack from a cardboard.
