Description:
Transparent solution from colourless to poorly painted in yellow color with a characteristic smell, free from foreign particles.

Pharmacological properties:

Sincaline salicylate is derivative salicylic acid, at an instillation in an ear has antiinflammatory and anelgeziruyushchy effect. Effect of sincaline of salicylate is based on oppression of activity of cyclooxygenase - the enzyme which is responsible for synthesis of prostaglandins. Sincaline salicylate also oppresses synthesis of thromboxane and prostacyclin.
Possesses also antimicrobic and antifungal action (in acid and alkaline medium).
At topical administration has no systemic action.

Indications to use:

- acute average otitis, myringitis, outside otitis;
- before washing of outside acoustical pass for a softening of the hardened earwax before the procedure of its removal.

Route of administration and doses:

At acute average otitis, a myringitis and outside otitis
Dig in in outside acoustical pass 3-4 drops 3-4 times a day.
The course of treatment makes no more than 10 days.
For a softening of "cerumen impactions" before their removal
Dig in 3-4 drops in outside acoustical pass two times a day for four days.
Before use of ear drops it is recommended to warm a bottle, having taken it in a hand, in order to avoid the unpleasant feelings connected with hit of cold liquid in an ear.

Drops should be dug in to the patient lying on one side; after the procedure of the patient has to remain within several minutes in the same situation.
There is no need to change the dosing mode for elderly people and patients with abnormal liver functions and kidneys.

Otinum does not influence ability to manage vehicles and to work with difficult mechanisms.

Side effects:

- allergic reactions, burning sensation;
- at prolonged use, and also at patients with perforation of a tympanic membrane there can come the hearing disorder.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens action of other anti-inflammatory, febrifugal and analgeziruyushchy drugs.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to sincaline to salicylate and other components of drug;
- a full or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, the nose recuring a polypose and okolonosovy bosoms and intolerance of acetylsalicylic acid or other NPVP (including in the anamnesis);
- disturbance of integrity of a tympanic membrane;
- pregnancy and the period of a lactation (due to the lack of data);
- children's age (due to the lack of data).
With care:
- allergic ("senny") cold, polyps of a mucous membrane of the nasal courses.

Overdose:

Data on overdose of drug are absent.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not over 25º C. To store in places unavailable to children. Term godnosti3 years. Not to use after the date specified on packaging.

On 10 g in a polyethylene bottle - a dropper with a capacity of 10 ml with the screw-on cover. On 1 bottle with the application instruction place in a cardboard pack.
