Tomatogenin

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 6-8 mg of lycopene.

Excipients: microcrystallic cellulose, aerosil, starch corn, sugar milk (lactose).

Tomatogenin's action is caused by effect of biologically active agent of a plant origin which is its part – the lycopene necessary for life activity of an organism.

Pharmacological properties:

Frmakodinamika. Lycopene - powerful vegetable antioxidant. Lycopene is distinguished from carotinoids with high anti-oxidizing activity (is almost three times more active, than beta carotene) and lack of toxic action, even in high doses. In comparison with beta carotene it is capable to neutralize considerably bigger amount of singlet oxygen. Lycopene concentrates in cellular membranes, protecting them from the damaging action of active forms of oxygen and an oxide of nitrogen. Lycopene protects lymphocytes from NO2. In spite of the fact that curative properties of lycopene are defined, generally by its antioxidant action, the collecting data confirm a possible involvement of other mechanisms, such as modulation of intercellular interactions, impact on endocrine and immune systems and ways of metabolism.

The oxidizing stress provokes development of chronic diseases, such as cancer and pathology of cardiovascular system. Lycopene prevents development of cancer and atherosclerosis, protecting the lipoproteids of low density (LLD), membrane lipids, proteins and DNA from oxidation. Lycopene works as the gipokholesterinemichesky agent. Oxidation of LNP which transport cholesterol in a blood channel plays an important role in development of atherosclerosis, the disease leading to damage of heart, an ischemic stroke, emergence of a bad coronary attack.

Lycopene stabilizes DNA genome, suppressing a mutagenesis and carcinogenesis, prevents precancerous age damages.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption of biologically active agents of the drug "Lycopene" happens in a small intestine. Transport of carotinoids is carried out on lymphatic system through a portal vein in a liver, then through a blood channel they are distributed in bodies and fabrics. The maximum concentration of lycopene and other carotinoids is reached in a prostate gland, a liver, kidneys, a mammary gland, adrenal glands, a GIT, lungs and skin. In a prostate lycopene prevails over other carotinoids. Lycopene — antioxidant, it is the most effective among carotinoids catching free radicals. Lycopene also stimulates cells to formation of intercellular contacts (process which at cancer cells stops). "Lycopene" is easily acquired by an organism, distributed on various fabrics and effectively supports their antioxidant status, providing protection against cancer and atherosclerosis.

Indications to use:

Promotes maintenance in physiological limits of functional activity of an organism, has tire-tread effect on cells of various functional specialization, reduces negative influence of adverse environmental factors (the ionizing radiation, electromagnetic radiations, etc.), increases body resistance to infections, intoxications chemicals, reduces risk of developing of cardiovascular and oncological diseases in an organism.

"Lycopene" is recommended to all persons who enter into risk group on cardiovascular and oncological diseases, with problems of a prostate and a potentiality. The data testimonial of expediency of reception of "Lycopene" for the prevention of innidiation in case of existence of primary tumor are obtained.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside to adults and children 12 years on 1 capsule a day during food are more senior. Not to exceed the recommended dose. Not to apply after the expiry date specified on packaging. The capsule is swallowed entirely, without chewing, washing down with a small amount of water.
