General characteristics. Structure:

Acting substances: 0,2 g of chlorobutanol of a gemidrat, 0,2 g of camphor of racemic, 0,2 g of left menthol, 0,2 g of an eucalyptus of leaves of oil in 20 g of solution.

Excipients: liquid paraffin, Firm-2 emulsifier (T-2), polysorbate 80, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Pharmacological properties: the combined antiinflammatory, antiseptic drug for topical administration in a nasal cavity, a mouth and a throat. Has antimicrobic effect, it is active concerning gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.

Pharmacological action. Cametonum - the combined drug which effect is defined by the components which are its part.

Chlorobutanol гемидрат renders the easy anesthetizing, antiinflammatory and antiseptic action.

Camphor racemic renders irritating and partly antiseptic action, strengthens a blood stream in a site of application.

Left menthol has the local irritative effect which is followed by a cryesthesia, easy burning and a pricking, has mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect, has also weak antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus of leaves oil exerts the stimulating impact on receptors of mucous membranes, has also weak local protivospalitelny and antiseptic activity.

Pharmacokinetics. Due to the low system absorption data on pharmacokinetics of drug are absent.

Indications to use:

Inflammatory diseases of ENT organs preferential in an aggravation phase (rhinitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, etc.).

Route of administration and doses:

Locally. Cametonum spray is sprayed in an oral cavity or a nose on an inspiratory phase. Before use the directing tube is established at an angle 90 ° to a bottle for irrigation of an oral cavity or under any convenient corner for irrigation of a nasal cavity.
