Mallow syrup

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: A mallow medicinal roots extract (a mallow of roots extract dry) (with the maintenance of the sum of the recovering monosaccharides in terms of glucose – 1,0%) - 25 g; excipients: Natrium benzoicum, sucrose (sugar), the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Syrup. On 125 g in the bottles from orange glass like FV corked by traffic jams from polyethylene and covers plastic screwed. On 125 g in the bottles from orange glass like Solstek corked by caps plastic screwed, aluminum with the rolled carving and control of the first opening or covers. On 125 g in the bottles of dark glass with a screw mouth corked by covers plastic screwed or caps aluminum with the rolled carving and control of the first opening. Each bottle or a bottle with the application instruction are placed in a pack from a cardboard. On 45 bottles or bottles with the equal number of instructions make in a thermoshrinkable film.

Indications to use:

The respiratory diseases which are followed by cough with the hardly separated phlegm (tracheitis, a tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).

Route of administration and doses:

To children up to 12 years – on 1 teaspoon of syrup which is previously divorced in ¼ glasses of warm water, 4-5 times a day after food.
To children 12 years and the adult - on 1 tablespoon of syrup which is previously divorced in ½ glasses of warm water, 4-5 times a day after food are more senior.
Duration of treatment makes 10-15 days. Increase in duration and carrying out repeated courses of treatment is possible in coordination with the doctor.

Inside, for 1 h to or in 2 h after food of 1 times a day. 
The adult at infections of upper and lower parts of respiratory tracts - 0.5 g/days for 1 reception within 3 days (a course dose - 1.5 g).
At infections of skin and soft tissues - 1 g/days in the first day for 1 reception, further on 0.5 g/days daily from 2 to 5 day (a course dose - 3 g).
At acute infections of urinogenital bodies (an uncomplicated urethritis or a cervicitis) - once 1 g.
At a disease Laima (borreliosis) for treatment of the I stage (erythema migrans) - 1 g in the first day and 0.5 g daily from 2 to 5 day (a course dose - 3 g).
At a peptic ulcer of a stomach and the duodenum associated with Helicobacter pylori – 1 g/days within 3 days as a part of the combined antikhelikobakterny therapy.
To children more than 25 kg at infections of upper and lower respiratory tracts are more senior than three years and/or with body weight, skin and soft tissues appoint at the rate of 10 mg/kg of body weight of 1 times a day within 3 days (a course dose – 30 mg/kg), or in the first day – 10 mg/kg of body weight, then 4 days – 5-10 mg/kg/days.
At treatment of erythema migrans at children (is more senior than three years and/or weighing more than 25 kg) drug is appointed 1 time a day in a dose of 20 mg/kg of body weight in the first day and on
10 mg/kg of body weight from 2 to 5 day.

Features of use:

Information for patients with a diabetes mellitus: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) contains 0,4 GU (grain units), in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) - 1,2 XE. Drug does not exert impact on ability to manage vehicles, mechanisms and the occupations other dangerous types of activity requiring special attention and bystry reactions.

Side effects:

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not necessary to apply along with the drugs containing codeine and other antibechic medicines as it complicates expectoration of the liquefied phlegm.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity to drug components. Deficit of invertase/isomaltase, intolerance of fructose, glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption. 
Use at pregnancy Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit and the child. It is necessary to consult with the doctor.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting. Treatment: drug withdrawal, gastric lavage.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the places unavailable to children. 
Period of validity 1 year 6 months. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
