General characteristics. Structure:
Active agents: Retinolum palmitate (vitamin A) - 2,75 mg (5000 ME) of thiamin a hydrochloride (B1 vitamin) - 2 mg Riboflavinum (B2 vitamin) - 2 mg niacinamide - 15 mg of a pyridoxine a hydrochloride (B6 vitamin) - 2 mg ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - 70 mg Excipients: baking wheat flour, starch syrup, talc, sunflower oil, sucrose, beeswax, the mint essential oil rectified dye quinolinic yellow E-104.
Pharmacological properties:
Complex polyvitaminic drug which effect is caused by effects of the vitamins which are its part. Retinolum palmitate (vitamin A) - fat-soluble vitamin, plays an important role in oxidation-reduction processes, participates in synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, proteins, lipids. Promotes normal spermato-and to an ovogenesis, development of a placenta, growth, normal development and differentiations of embryonal fabrics, including epithelial structures and a bone tissue. Participates in formation of the rhodopsins necessary for normal twilight and color sight; provides integrity of epithelial fabrics, regulates growth of bones. Thiamin the hydrochloride (B1 vitamin) - as coenzyme participates in carbohydrate metabolism, functioning of a nervous system. Riboflavinum (B2 vitamin) - the most important catalyst of processes of cellular respiration and visual perception. Pyridoxine the hydrochloride (B6 vitamin) - as coenzyme takes part in protein metabolism and synthesis of neurotransmitters. Niacinamide - participates in processes of tissue respiration, fatty and carbohydrate metabolism. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – participates in oxidation of a number of biologically active agents, regulation of components of connecting fabric, carbohydrate metabolism, coagulability of blood and regeneration (recovery) of fabrics; stimulates formation of steroid hormones; normalizes permeability of capillaries.
Indications to use:
Prevention and treatment of hypovitaminoses. Apply to increase in body resistance to infectious and catarrhal diseases; for improvement of visual acuity at persons whose work requires special attention; at prolonged treatment by antibiotics.
Route of administration and doses:
Dragees "Hexavitum" appoint after food for prevention of hypovitaminoses 1 dragee a day, in other cases – the adult - on 1 dragee 3 times a day; to children: from 3 to 7 years - on 1 dragee 2 times a day, are more senior than 7 years – on 1 dragee 3 times a day.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions to drug components are possible.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug components, pregnancy.
Storage conditions:
In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Packaging:
Dragee. On 50 dragees in bank of orange glass or in bank polymeric. Each can together with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard. On 500 g in metal tins with laying from parchment (for hospitals). 150 cans of orange glass are allowed, either 150 cans polymeric or to place 24 or 30 metal tins together with the equal number of application instructions in boxes from a cardboard.
