General characteristics. Structure:
Drug contains 1 g of iodine, 2 g of potassium of iodide, 94 g of glycerin and 3 g of the water purified.
Pharmacological properties:
Antiseptic agent.
Indications to use:
It is applied at infectious and inflammatory diseases of mucous membranes of a throat and throat, angular stomatitis (perleches).
Route of administration and doses:
It is applied locally, by irrigation of mucous membranes of a throat, a throat and application at angular stomatitis (perleches).
Features of use:
It is contraindicated for intake at pregnancy.
Side effects:
Development of the phenomena of an iodism is possible: cold, skin rashes as a small tortoiseshell, hypersalivation, dacryagogue, contact dermatitis, an erythema, a xeroderma, easy burning, an itch, a bronchospasm, nausea, vomiting, a Quincke's edema (at some patients because of a drug smell), reddening on site applications.
Interaction with other medicines:
Drug cannot be used along with peroxide of hydrogen and other disinfectants.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to iodine drugs.
Overdose:
Iodism phenomena. Treatment: it is necessary to cause vomiting, to carry out a gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy. At emergence of symptoms of overdose, and also other symptoms undescribed in the instruction, it is necessary to see a doctor urgently.
Storage conditions:
At a temperature from +5 to +25 °C. It is necessary to store in the place unavailable to children protected from light.
