General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: Pidotimod of 400,0 mg;

Excipients: sodium chloride of 5,6 mg, sodium saccharinate of 5,0 mg, dinatrium эдетат 3,5 mg, трометамол q.s. to рН 6,5, methylparahydroxysodium benzoate of 10,3 mg, пропилпарагидроксибензоат sodium of 1,6 mg, sorbitol of 70% 2500 mg, fragrance fruit (with a smell of wild berries) 21,0 mg, dye anthocyanin of 5,6 mg, dye crimson [Ponso 4R] 0,5 mg, the water purified to 7,0 ml.

Description: transparent liquid of red-violet color with a smell of wild berries.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Pidotimod stimulates and regulates cellular and humoral immunity in the conditions of an immunodeficiency. Action on T-cellular immunity — пидотимод increases activity of natural killers and activates phagocytosis. Action - пидотимод increases products of cytokines by humoral immunity.

Pharmacokinetics. Pharmacokinetics researches on volunteers showed the high level of absorption at peroral introduction, bioavailability makes 45%, an elimination half-life — 4 hours.

Indications to use:

Immunocorrective therapy of bacterial, fungal and viral infections of upper and lower respiratory and urinary tract, as a part of complex therapy.

Route of administration and doses:

Adult:

On 800 mg of a pidotimod (2 bottles) twice a day out of meal within 15 days.

Doses and duration of administration of drug can be corrected depending on severity and expressiveness of symptoms of a disease. Duration of a course is no more than 90 days.

To children 3 years are more senior:

On 400 mg of a pidotimod (1 bottle) twice a day out of meal within 15 days.

Doses and duration of administration of drug can be corrected depending on severity and expressiveness of symptoms of a disease. Duration of a course is no more than 90 days.

The daily dose on reception should not exceed 800 mg inside for children is more senior than 3 years and, respectively, 1600 mg inside for adults.

Side effects:

Against the background of administration of drug development of allergic reactions is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Drug can influence efficiency of the medicines suppressing or stimulating a functional lymphocyte activity.

Pregnancy and period of a lactation

In spite of the fact that in researches on animals embriotoksichesky and teratogenic effects of drug were not noted, its use during pregnancy and the period of feeding is not recommended by a breast.

Influence on ability to driving and other mechanisms

Does not influence.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any of drug components, children's age up to 3 years.

With care

Drug has to be used with care at patients with a syndrome of a giperimmunoglobulinemiya E, with earlier being found allergic reactions.

Overdose:

Storage conditions:
