General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 tablet contains Mucaltinum 100 mg;
excipients: magnesium carbonate the main, aspartame (Е 951), tartaric acid, povidone, sucrose (tsukroza), calcium stearate, silicon dioxide colloid anhydrous,
fragrance (orange).

Tablets of grayish-brown color with impregnations, a round form with a flat surface, risky and a facet.

Pharmacological properties:

Alteyka Galichfarm – an effective expectorant which action is caused by sekretolitichesky and broncholitic properties. Drug has moderate antibechic effect, reduces quantity of fits of coughing and their intensity. Normalizes the changed bronchopulmonary secretion, improves expectoration: reduces its viscosity and adhesive properties, facilitates advance of a phlegm from the respiratory tracts, lower in upper parts, and its expectoration. Alteyka Galichfarm is not toxic and does not render the local irritating effect.

Indications to use:

Cough at acute and chronic respiratory diseases: bronchitis, pneumonia, a bronchoectatic disease, bronchial asthma, a pulmonary tuberculosis with the phenomena of nonspecific bronchitis.

Route of administration and doses:

To adults and children 12 years are more senior appoint on 1 tablet 3–4 times a day to food. Tablets should be chewed and washed down with a small amount of water. A single dose for children aged from 3 up to 12 years – 1 tablet. The course of treatment which is defined by the doctor depending on a disease form usually makes from 7 days to 1–2 months.

Features of use:

At patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of lungs in an initiation of treatment of Alteykaya the Galichfarm can sometimes raise viscosity of a phlegm at the expense of department of the phlegm which collected in a bronchial tree and containing a large number of a detritis, proteins and inflammatory elements. Therefore at diffusion damage of bronchial tubes, considerable changes of physical and chemical properties of a phlegm and decrease in mukotsiliarny transport Alteykaya's therapy Galichfarm needs to be combined with purpose of mucolytic drugs.
Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. Experience of use for pregnant women and during feeding by a breast is absent.
Ability to influence speed of reaction at management of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Drug does not influence control of motor transport or work with other dangerous mechanisms.
Children. Drug is not used to children under 3 years.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions in the form of a small tortoiseshell, a skin itch are in certain cases possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At the moment data on medicinal interactions of Alteyki Galichfarm are absent. Not to appoint along with the drugs oppressing cough (codeine).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Mucaltinum or other components of drug. Children's age up to 3 years.

Overdose:

At use of the specified therapeutic doses of drug the overdose is impossible. At prolonged use or overdose there can be nausea and vomiting.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 2 years. Store to original packaging at a temperature from 8 ºС up to 15 °C. Store in the place, unavailable to children.
