Description: white or almost white homogeneous gel, sweet taste, with smack and a smell of orange.

Pharmacological properties:

Has the kislotoneytralizuyushchy, enveloping, adsorbing effect. Reduces proteolytic activity of pepsin. Does not cause alkalization of a gastric juice, keeping acidity of gastric contents at the physiological level. Does not lead to secondary hypersecretion of hydrochloric acid.

Forms a blanket on a mucous membrane of a GIT.

Promotes removal of toxins, gases and microorganisms throughout a digestive tract, normalizes a contents passage on intestines.

Indications to use:

For adults:

- peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;

- gastritis with the normal or increased secretory function;

- phrenic hernia;

- reflux esophagitis;

- syndrome of not ulcer dyspepsia;

- functional diarrhea;

- the gastric and intestinal frustration caused by intoxication, reception of medicines, the irritating substances (acid, alkali), alcohol.

For children:

- esophagitis;

- gastroesophageal reflux;

- gastritis;

- peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, it is possible in pure form or before reception to part in half of glass of water. To adults and children 6 years — on 1–2 pack ice are more senior. 2–3 times a day; at a gastroesophageal reflux, phrenic hernia — right after food and for the night; at a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum — in 1–2 h after food and immediately when developing pains; at gastritis and dyspepsia — to food; at functional diseases of a large intestine — in the morning on an empty stomach and for the night. Administration of drug is repeated if pains arise in intervals between receptions.

To children: up to 6 months — on 4 g (1/4 pack ice. or 1 h a spoon) after each of 6 feedings; after 6 months — on 8 g (on 1/2 pack ice. or 2 h a spoon) after each of 4 feedings.

Features of use:

At the locks which are occasionally arising at Fosfalyugel's reception it is recommended to increase amount of daily consumed water.

Drug can be used by the patients suffering from a diabetes mellitus; preventively for reduction of absorption of radioelements.

Fosfalyugel's use does not affect results of X-ray inspection.

At Fosfalyugel's use along with other medicines it is necessary to consult with the doctor as Fosfalyugel reduces efficiency of effect of some drugs.

Precautionary measures

Does not follow it is long to accept drug without appointment of the doctor. With care apply in the presence of diseases of kidneys, cirrhosis, the expressed heart failure. At elderly patients and patients with a renal failure at Fosfalyugel's use in the recommended doses increase in concentration of aluminum in blood serum is possible.
 
Antibiotics of tetracycline group, iron preparations, cardiac glycosides should be accepted not earlier than in 2 h after Fosfalyugel's reception.
 
Use of drug in therapeutic doses during the periods of pregnancy and a lactation according to indications is possible.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding according to indications, in therapeutic doses is possible.

Side effects:

Lock (seldom, generally at people of advanced age and bed patients).

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to drug;

- the expressed renal failures.

Overdose:

Symptoms: oppression of motility of a GIT (because of a large number of ions of aluminum).

Treatment: purpose of purgatives.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature of 15-25 °C. To store in the places unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
