Bronkhipret

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 50 g of liquid extract of a grass of a thyme (1:2-2,5: extraction substance on DAB 10), 15 g of tincture of leaves of an ivy (1:5; extraction substance: ethanol of 70% about.). Ethanol content: 19% (in the volume relation).

Excipients: a dihydrate of saccharin of sodium, citric acid monohydrate, the purified water.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug renders expectorant, antiinflammatory, sekretolitichesky, broncholitic action, promotes decrease in viscosity of a phlegm and acceleration of its evacuation.

Indications to use:

As an expectorant at treatment of the acute and chronic inflammatory respiratory diseases which are followed by cough and formation of a phlegm (tracheitis, a tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is appointed inside, after food. Adult: on 40 drops 4 times a day.

To teenagers (12-18 years): on 28 drops 4 times a day.

To children of school age (6-11 years): on 25 drops 4 times a day.

Course of treatment – 10-14 days. Increase in duration and carrying out repeated courses of treatment is possible according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Features of use:

If at use of drug within 10-14 days symptoms of a disease remain, it is necessary to see consultation a doctor.

Drug contains 19% of ethanol (in the volume relation). The single dose of drug which is most recommended for adults (50 drops = 2,6 ml) contains 0,39 g of alcohol.

Children should appoint drug with care (because of a possible negative impact of ethanol).
Drug can be appointed a sick diabetes mellitus as the single dose contains less than 0,03 considered grain units.

At long storage of a drop of Bronkhipret® can dim that not its efficiency does not influence.

Before the use contents of a bottle should be shaken up.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Drops of Bronkhipret® should not be applied along with antibechic drugs, and also with the medicines reducing formation of a phlegm as it complicates expectoration of the liquefied phlegm.

The combination with antibacterial medicines is possible.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, children's age up to 6 years. Owing to availability of ethanol, it is not recommended to appoint drug at alcoholism, epilepsy, liver diseases, diseases and brain injuries.

Overdose:

At overdose pains in a stomach, vomiting, diarrhea are possible.

Storage conditions:

To store in the dry and protected from light place, at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
