Imupret

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: the dried-up vegetable concentrate from: 8 mg of a root of a mallow (radix Althaeae), 6 mg of flowers of a camomile (flores Chamomillae), 10 mg of a grass of a horsetail (herba Equiseti), 12 mg of leaves of walnut (folia Juglandis), 4 mg of a grass milfoils (herba Millefolii), 4 mg of bark of an oak (cortex Quercus), 4 mg of a grass of a dandelion (herba Taraxaci).

Excipients: lactose, starch corn, potato starch, stearic acid, glucose monohydrate, silicon dioxide high-disperse, calcium a carbonate, glucose the syrup, indigotin, starch corn modified wax of montanoviya glycolic, weed (1-vinyl-2-pirolidon) K 25, weed (1-vinyl-2-pirolidon) K 30, castor oil, sucrose, shellac, talc, titanium dioxide.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Vegetable components which are a part of drug have complex activity which is shown in antiinflammatory action, reduction of hypostasis of a mucous membrane of respiratory tracts and around nasal bosoms, local the enveloping action (reduction of pain), imunostimuliruyushchy and antiviral effects. Under the influence of drug phagocytal activity of macrophages and granulocytes, accelerations of elimination of pathogenic microorganisms increases.

Pharmacokinetics. It was not studied.

Indications to use:

Diseases of upper respiratory tracts (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis), prevention of development of complications and a recurrence at respiratory viral infections owing to decrease in protective forces of an organism.

Route of administration and doses:

Depending on disease symptoms, drug is appointed in the following doses:

At acute manifestations (usually 2-3 days):

- adults: on the 2nd tablet of 5-6 times a day;

- children from 6 to 12 years: on 1 tablet of 5-6 times a day.

After stopping of acute manifestations within 1 week and for long therapy:

- adults: on the 2nd tablet 3 times a day;

- children from 6 to 12 years: on 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Even after disappearance of symptoms, it is reasonable to continue within 1 week treatment to prevent a disease recurrence.

Drug is well transferred therefore it can be recommended for prolonged use. For basic therapy of chronic respiratory diseases (especially tonsillitis) it is necessary to use drug not less than 6 weeks.

It is necessary to swallow of tablets, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.

Features of use:

During pregnancy and feeding it is necessary to appoint drug a breast, having convinced that the advantage of use exceeds potential risk.

There are no data on direct influence of drug on ability to manage transport and to work with mechanisms. Patients should not appoint drug with rare hereditary intolerance of a galactose, deficit of Lapp of lactase, intolerance of fructose, malabsorption of glucose galactose or deficit of invertase-isomaltase.

Side effects:

In isolated cases skin allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At complex use with antibiotics of Imupret® exponentiates their effect and prevents immunosuppressive action of antibiotics on an organism.

Negative effects owing to interaction with other medicines are unknown.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to components of drug and to plants from family of a thistle family, and also children under 6 years.

Overdose:

Cases of poisoning with drug owing to its overdose are not known.

Storage conditions:

To store in protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not over 25 ºС. Period of validity 3 years.
