Prostanut forte

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 160 mg of a sereno creeping / palm trees palmetto of fruits extract dry (10:14,3:1), extragent: ethanol of 90%; 120 mg of a nettle of roots extract dry (7,6-12,5:1), extragent: ethanol of 60%.

Excipients: capsule contents: triglycerides (a triefira of saturated C8-C18 glycerin and fatty acids), the soy oil hydrogenated of silicon dioxide colloid.

Capsule cover: glycerin of 85% (глицерол), gelatin polysuccinate, ferrous oxide yellow, E172, patent blue V, E 131.

Description: capsules oval green color, capsule contents – the mass of an oily consistence from light brown till dark brown color with a characteristic smell.

Drug renders antiinflammatory, antiedematous, immunomodulatory, anti-proliferative and anti-androgenic action.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Antiinflammatory and antiedematous action: It is caused by inhibition of the main links of the cascade of arachidonic acid and synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes with the subsequent reduction of permeability and, as a result, decrease in pain, an inflammation and hypostasis of fabrics prostatic glands.

Immunomodulatory action: It is caused by suppression of autoimmune impact on prostate gland tissue at inflammatory processes, and also decrease in proliferation of active lymphocytes

Anti-proliferative and anti-androgenic action: it is connected with inhibition of enzymes of an aromazata and 5alfa-reductase that in turn interferes with education from testosterone of oestradiol and dihydrotestosterone promoting fabric growth predstavtelny glands.

Prostanut forte reduces the symptoms of disturbance of an urination caused by a benign hyperplasia of a prostate. Prostanut forte reduces pain and burning sensation at an urination, promotes bystry bladder emptying and reduces the frequency of false and night desires to an urination. Does not exert impact on sexual activity.

Indications to use:

It is applied to treatment of disturbances of an urination at a benign hyperplasia of a prostate of I and II degrees and prostatitis. Prevention of a recurrence of a benign hyperplasia of a prostate after operation.

Route of administration and doses:

To accept inside, without chewing, on 1 capsule 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening, washing down with a small amount of water. Duration of treatment makes not less than 30 days.

Features of use:

This drug only reduces expressiveness of the symptoms caused by increase in a prostate without eliminating increase. In this regard it is regularly recommended to visit the doctor for control inspections, especially at emergence of blood in urine and at an acute ischuria.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible. In rare instances the irritation of a mucous membrane of a stomach (can be observed at administration of drug on an empty stomach). Prostanut forte has good tolerance.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not described.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

About drug overdose cases it was not reported so far.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity: 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
