General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: calcium butyrate - 307 mg, inulin - 250 mg.
Excipients: maltodextrin; sorbitol; gidroksipropilmetiltsellyuloza; MKTs; the modified corn starch; citric acid; the hydrated colloid silicon dioxide; talc; shellac; magnesium stearate; stearic acid; lecithin; titanium dioxide; hydroxypropyl cellulose; triethyl citrate (E1505); fragrance — vanillin.

Pharmacological properties:

Butyric acid is normal formed in a large intestine as a result of splitting by normal microflora of a gut of the indigestible carbohydrates arriving together with food. The main function of butyric acid — supply with energy of cells of a mucous membrane of a large intestine and their maintenance in a healthy functional state.

Inulin is soluble food fiber which creates a medium for intestinal microflora, stimulating with that growth of beneficial bacteria (prebiotichesky action). Also as a result of inulin metabolism bacteria of a gut form endogenous butyric acid.

Release of active agents in a large intestine. Fully to realize the main biological functions, butyric acid at intake has to get into a large intestine, without being exposed to premature absorption in overlying departments of a GIT. It becomes possible thanks to special technology on the basis of the polymeric multimatriksny structure allowing tablets to overcome a stomach and a small intestine and to reach a large intestine in not changed look. Throughout a large intestine there is a gradual release of active agents.

Indications to use:

As an additional source of butyric acid and inulin.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, to food, without chewing. The adult — according to 3–4 tab. a day. Duration of reception is not less than 30 days. Depending on initial shortage level of butyric acid and inulin reduction of quantity of the taken pill to 1–2 in day is possible.
