Gerbion primrose syrup

General characteristics. Structure:

Left menthol of 0,62 mg 9,92 g

Excipients: methylparahydroxybenzoate (E218), sucrose.

Primrose roots (Primula veris L., f. Primulaceae),
The water purified (extragent)
The ratio 1:2 - 4,6 corresponds to a ratio of medicinal vegetable raw materials: to extract; (on average from 1 part of vegetable raw materials receive 3,3 parts of extract).
** Thyme ordinary herbs extract liquid (1: 3,3) it is prepared from:
Thyme grass (Thynras vulganis L., f. Lamiaceae),
The water purified (extragent).
Ratio 1: 3,3 corresponds to a ratio of medicinal vegetable raw materials: to extract; (from 1 part of vegetable raw materials receive 3,3 parts of extract).

Description:
Syrup of brown color with a specific smell. Opalescence existence is allowed.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug possesses expectorant, antiinflammatory, antimicrobic action; promotes reduction of viscosity of a phlegm and its best otkhozhdeniye.

Indications to use:

Drug is used as an expectorant in complex therapy of inflammatory respiratory diseases with difficult separated phlegm (including bronchitis, tracheitis, a tracheobronchitis), at the acute respiratory diseases which are followed by "dry" cough.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, drug is recommended to be accepted, washing down with enough warm water.
The adult about 3 measured spoons (1 measured spoon of-5 ml) 3-4 times a day after food are recommended to accept.
To children aged from 2 up to 5 years - on 1/2 measured spoons 3 times a day after food.
To children aged from 5 up to 14 years - on 1 measured spoon (5 ml) of syrup 3 times a day after food.
To children 14 years — on 2 measured spoons (10 ml) of syrup 3-4 times a day are more senior.
Therapy course duration - 2-3 weeks. Increase in duration or carrying out a repeated course of treatment perhaps after consultation with the doctor.

Features of use:

1 measured spoon of syrup (5 ml) contains 3,15 g of sucrose. At observance of the recommendations about use of drug specified in the instruction, the patient receives on reception from 3,15 g (1 measured spoon - 5 ml that he corresponds to 0,315 grain units) to 9,45 g (3 measured spoons - 15 ml that corresponds to 0,945 grain units) sucrose.
Гербион® syrup of a primrose does not influence ability to drive the car and for work with difficult technical mechanisms.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible. Are possible seldom or never: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In case of side effects it is necessary to stop administration of drug and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

Гербион® syrup of a primrose should not be applied along with the antibechic drugs and medicines reducing formation of a phlegm as it complicates expectoration of the liquefied phlegm.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, and also to the drugs containing active agents of family primrose family and families yasnotkovy; children after the postponed acute obstructive laryngitis (grain); bronchial asthma, diabetes mellitus; hereditary intolerance of fructose; sprue of glucose galactose and inborn insufficiency of invertase-isomaltase; children's age up to 2 years.

Pregnancy and period of a lactation.
Pregnant women and the feeding women are not recommended to accept drug (in connection with insufficiency of data on safety of use of drug for the specified group of patients).

Overdose:

Messages on cases of overdose of drug did not arrive.
In case of overdose of saponinsoderzhashchy drugs, the gastrointestinal frustration which are shown nausea, vomiting, diarrhea are possible.
Treatment: symptomatic.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature from 15 °C to 30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity. 2 years. Not to use drug after expiry date.

Packaging:

Syrup. On 150 ml of syrup in a bottle of the dark glass (type III) corked by a plastic stopper with a rassekatel of liquid and a plastic cover with control of the first opening.
1 bottle is placed in a pack cardboard together with the dosing plastic spoon and the application instruction.
