Baziron AS

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: benzoyl peroxide water (in terms of benzoyl peroxide anhydrous)
Baziron the EXPERT of 2,5% – 2,5 g,
Baziron the EXPERT of 5,0% – 5,0 g,
Baziron the EXPERT of 10,0% – 10,0 g;

Excipients: methacrylic acid copolymer, half-oxameasures 182, carbomer 940, глицерол, dinatrium эдетат, sodium docusate, propylene glycol, silicon dioxide colloid, sodium hydroxide, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Benzoyl peroxide shows antimicrobic activity concerning Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis. Has keratolytic effect, improves oxygenation of fabrics, suppresses products of skin fat in sebaceous glands.

PHARMACOKINETICS. Peroxide benzoyl penetration through skin is low. The main part of benzoyl of peroxide turns into the benzoic acid which after absorption gets to a system blood stream and is quickly removed by kidneys.
There is no cumulation in fabrics. Bazirona AS in therapeutic doses does not result cutaneous use in side effects of systemic action.

Indications to use:

Acne rash.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. Evenly to apply with a light touch gel on the struck surface one or twice a day (in the morning and in the evening) on clean dry skin. The therapeutic effect develops after 4 weeks of treatment, permanent improvement after 3-month treatment.
The repeated course of treatment is possible after consultation with the doctor.

Features of use:

To avoid hit Bazirona AS of gel on mucous membranes of eyes, a mouth and a nose. At accidental hit of drug on mucous carefully to wash out them warm water.
Simultaneous use of means with the peeling, drying or irritating effect is not recommended (for example the means containing alcohol).
Solar and ultra-violet radiation which are the additional reason of irritation of skin is not recommended.

Side effects:

In rare instances local irritation (reddening, peeling, xeroderma, burning sensation). In such cases it is recommended to reduce use frequency.
In rare instances there can be allergic contact dermatitis.

Interaction with other medicines:

There are no data.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to one of the entering drug ingredients. Children up to 12 years.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
Controlled clinical tests of use of drug at pregnancy and a lactation it was not carried out. For a long time of a clinical use Bazirona AS cases of toxic action on a fruit or malformations were not noted.
Use of gel of Baziron the EXPERT at pregnancy and feeding by breast milk is possible when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit.

Gel for external use of 2,5%, 5%, 10% on 40 g in a tuba from polyethylene of low density with densely screwing up cover. One tuba with the application instruction is placed in a cardboard pack.
